Destin Jet Skiing Hot Spots

Destin has one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the country, and to see some of the best action during your Florida vacation, you’ll need to get a little wet. Parasailing is a fun way to get a birds eye view of the coast, but to see how the locals live, rent a jet ski at Wet-N-Wild Watersports to spend the afternoon, or entire day, getting a taste of what Destin has to offer:

Crab Island

Crab Island

One of the favorites of the locals is Crab Island. A magical sandbar in the crystal clear waters that ranges from 2-10 feet deep. You can’t get there from the mainland, so pulling up with a pontoon, paddleboard or waverunners like the ones we have at Wet-N-Wild Watersports are the only way to dive into the fun. Head to the stage for some live music or steer towards the slide for some low-key snorkeling and family-friendly fun.

Jet Ski Destin

East Pass

If you decide to keep exploring past Crab Island, you’ll find yourself in the deep blue waters of the East Pass, the channel connecting Destin Harbor to the Gulf of Mexico. It was dug in 1929 to allow water to escape the bay after it rains, and now is home to lush wildlife for snorkeling and fishing, along with views of the Destin skyline. Since many spots in the harbor are “no-wake” areas, the East Pass and beyond are where you can take your jet ski adventure to the next level.
